Sorry about the radio silence over here. After all, it is almost summer. Which means lots of dripping popsicles, sitting in the shade, listening to the sounds of kids running through the sprinklers. Oh and lots and lots of drawing up landscaping plans and starting new projects. I love this time of the year. And not just because of the popsicles (though those are pretty good). It is always exciting to get a fresh start on new projects. More on that to come.
But we have been busy, busy getting plans drawn up. Lately, one of my favorite looks is concerete squares — a great alternative to pavers. We’ve put these in several homes, and I am always amazed at what a difference they make. I love the look of the sharp lines, either with grass
or a ground cover.
I like their tidiness and versatility. You could easily put lawn furniture on top when entertaining a large crowd or leave it empty without it looking bare. So fun.
Here with stone. Isn’t that moss awesome?
The finished product.
